Who is James Argent?

James 'Arg' Argent was born in north east London on 5 December 1987.

Originally a wedding band crooner. he came to widespread public attention with the first series of The Only Way is Essex (TOWIE) in 2010.

He went missing briefly in 2014, and police described him as "white and of large build, about 6ft tall with dark hair".

When he turned up Arg tweeted his apologies for causing concern.

Also in 2014, he went into rehab 'after hitting rock bottom'.

He has had an off-on relationship with his girlfriend Lydia Bright.

He also had a spell going out with Gemma Collins.

In 2016, he became one of the celebrities on Channel Four's The Jump.

A previous winner of The Jump was TOWIE's Joey Essex.

At the same time as Arg was on the ski slopes training for The Jump, ITV broadcast Sugar Free Farm, in which he was one of the celebrities taking part.

James Argent was the second celebrity to be eliminated from The Jump series 3. However, Arg returned to the show after Linford Christie became the fifth celebrity to have to pull out through injury.

This time, he was eliminated straightaway.

In August 2017, it was revealed that James Argent would be one of the celebrities in the third series of E4's Celebs Go Dating.
