Who was Sarah Harding?
Girls Aloud singer, Sarah Harding was born on 17th November 1981 and grew up in the North West of England.Her father was in a band and Sarah herself was in a girl band in her teens.
In 2007, Sarah Harding modelled underwear and swimwear for Ultimo.
Girls Aloud were the winning group of five girls that came out of ITV1's Popstars: The Rivals. Sarah Harding controversially took the last spot, although Javine was expected to get into the group. Girls Aloud were managed by Louis Walsh.
Girls Aloud proved hugely successful and had fifteen consecutive top 10 hits including three number ones.
In an interview with The Telegraph, Sarah Harding said: "You just don't know who to trust. Anyone we meet through work is just an acquaintance. When we're not together, we all just hang out with our old friends from home."
In June 2009, The Mail carried photos of Sarah Harding, her boyfriend Tom Crane and their puppy Corker. The article coincided with the transmission of the BBC2 drama Freefall, in which she was cast.
In 2009, Sarah Harding was cast in the new St Trinian's film, The Legend of Fritton's Gold.
Also in 2009, Sarah Harding with Mahiki founders Nick House and Piers Adam opened a nightclub Kanaloa.
In 2015, she was one of the celebrities on Celebrity Masterchef.
The following year, 2016, she was one of the celebs on Channel Four's The Jump.
However, Sarah Harding became the sixth celebrity to have to withdraw from the The Jump due to injury.
Also in 2016, Sarah Harding was cast in Ghost The Musical. It was her theatre debut.
In August 2017, she won Celebrity Big Brother series 20.
In 2020, she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Sarah Harding died on 5 September 2021 aged 39.
