Mohamed Mohamed was a 23 year-old toy demonstrator in Hamleys when he entered Big Brother series 9.

He had auditioned for Big Brother for four years.

Mohamed Mohamed, who was born in Somalia, lived in Kenya, Yemen, Eritrea, Ethiopia and Dubai before moving to England when he was 10.

His mother was held at gunpoint when Mohamed Mohamed was 5 years old and sought to move the family to safety.

Mohamed Mohamed describes himself as a non-practising Muslim.

Mohamed Mohamed's favourite comedians include Jimmy Carr, Omid Djalii and Ricky Gervais.

On Day 20 of Big Brother, Mohamed and Sylvia were nominated for eviction, however three days later it was Sylvia who was evicted by the public vote.

It had been a tense time for Mohamed, as in the night before Dennis had spat in his face, for which Dennis was subsequently removed from Big Brother.

On Day 48 of Big Brother, Mohamed, along with Darnell and Rebecca, was nominated for eviction. However, Mohamed survived and Rebecca was evicted.

A week later, it had looked like it was just Dale and Luke who were nominated, but because of a rule infringement, Mohamed along with Darnell, Kathreya, Maysoon, Rachel, Rex and Stuart also faced the public vote.

Once again Mo survived and, when he was voted to be the final head of household, he was guaranteed a place in the Big Brother final.

However, in a surprise double eviction on Tuesday September 2, 2008 Mohamed became the 12th person to be evicted from Big Brother, after receiving the least votes to win from the public of those housemates remaining.

After Big Brother, Mohamed returned to his old job working at Hamleys.
