For the two years prior to Big Brother, Sara Folino won the award at work for the being the 'loudest person'.

Sara Folino was born in Australia, and lived there for 21 years.

Sara's father was Italian and strict and Sara Folino told her Big Brother housemates that her father's attitude exacerbated her rebelliousness and her rush to leave home.

When she entered Big Brother Sara was single and said she was looking for a boyfriend, having not had a long-term relationship since her time in London.

Before she worked at MTV, Sara Folino worked in a bank.

Sara Folino's dream job would be working as a presenter for MTV.

On Day 76 of Big Brother, Sara faced the public vote, up against Nicole and Lisa.

However, Sara Folino survived the public vote and it was Nicole who was evicted from Big Brother series 9.

Just days later, on 27 August 2008, nominations were broadcast live on Channel Four. Sara and Lisa were nominated, but they also had the right to play Prisoner's Choice for £50,000. They both told the truth in agreeing to share and went away £25,000 richer.

Two days later, things got even better for Sara when she beat Lisa in the public vote and so reached the Big Brother final.

Sara said she intended to use part of the money to fly over her sister Britney from Australia.

Sara Folino ended up third in Big Brother series 9.
