David Emanuel's Biography

David Emanuel was born on 17 November 1952 in Bridgend, Wales.

He became known as a fashion designer, notably co-designing the wedding gown for Princess Diana, and also designing clothes for the likes of Madonna, Joan Collins, and Elizabeth Taylor.

David Emanuel was very musical. As well as playing various instruments, he was head chorister of his church choir and a singer in the County Youth Choir, however he decided to focus on fashion and graduated from the Royal College of Art, with a Masters of Art degree in Fashion Design.

Before founding his own company called Emanuel in 1977, he worked at Hardy Amies, Cojana and Marcel Fenez.

David Emanuel's appearances on television include broadcasts on both sides of the Atlantic.

In 2013, he was runner-up on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
