Stefanie Powers's Biography

Her parents divorced when she was seven.

Stefanie was around in the latter years of the 'Star System' in the movie world, and at 15, was contracted to Columbia, to make films.

From 1966 to 1972 she was married to the actor Gary Lockwood.

She subsequently had a long relationship with, but did not marry William Holden. Soon after he died, she married the French agricultural biologist, Count Patrick de la Chesnais.

They divorced after six years. Subsequently she started a relationship with Tom Carroll.

Although she had many significant acting roles, Stefanie Powers is best known for playing Jennifer Hart in the popular 1980s TV series Hart to Hart.

In 2009, she was diagnosed with lung cancer, however she recovered well after surgery.

She published the autobiography, One From The Hart.

In 2011, she was the first celebrity to be voted off I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

She is fond of wildlife, established the William Holden Wildlife Foundation, and at the time of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, her own animals included Papuga, an Amazon parrot, and her dogs, Chiquita, Miss Bounce, Alex, Ethel and Skip.
