Mark Wright's Biography

He started off playing football in Tottenham Hotspur's youth set-up and played some games for the likes of Crawley and Rushden.

His brother, Josh Wright, has represented England at football at various youth levels.

One of his sisters is Jessica Wright.

Mark Wright was a nightclub promoter and became friends with Jack Tweed.

He became known to the general public through the reality TV series The Only Way Is Essex, which started in October 2010. It was announced that he was leaving the show on 9 November 2011.

Shortly afterwards, he came second on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

A month beforehand, his former fiancée Lauren Goodger revealed she had aborted Mark Wright's baby.

In 2014, Mark Wright was paired with Karen Hauer on Strictly Come Dancing. They got to the final but finished fourth.

In 2015, he married Michelle Keegan.

In 2017, ITV announced that Mark Wright would co-host, with Laura Jackson, Take Me Out: The Gossip.

In 2019, Mark Wright served as the 'host, friend and confidant' to Alex Marks in The Bachelor UK on Channel Five.

In 2024, he became one of the presenters of the BBC One home-makeover show, Clean It, Fix It.
