Jason Robinson was born in Leeds on 30 July 1974.

He was brought up on an estate in Harehills having been abandoned by his father.

His mother, a cleaner, suffered domestic violence by his stepfather.

Robinson played rugby league for Wigan, England, and Great Britain.

In 2000 he switched to rugby union and played for Sale, England and the Lions.

Jason Robinson was part of England's 2003 World Cup winning side.

In 2015, he was the subject of ITV4's Sports Life Stories.

One of Jason Robinson's children is Wigan's Lewis Tierney.

In November 2016, Channel Four revealed that Jason Robinson would be one of the celebrities on series 4 of The Jump.

He ended up third.
