Mark Dolan was born in London on 17 March 1974.

In 2003, he played Richard Taylor in the spoof series, The Richard Taylor Interviews, in which genuine members of the public were unwittingly interviewed in a deliberately amusing way.

His other credits include presenting The Last Word on More 4 and presenting Channel Four's The World's Most ... And Me; and the comedy series Balls of Steel also on Channel Four.

Mark Dolan regularly performs stand-up and is a feature of the Edinburgh Festival.

He also hosts a regular show on Fubar Radio.

Dolan cites Woody Allen and David Letterman as his biggest inspirations.

In December 2016 it was revealed that Mark Dolan would be a celebrity on series 4 of Channel Four's The Jump.

He was the second celebrity to be evicted from The Jump.

It was not his first time on reality TV, in 2014 he had been a winner of Celebrity Come Dine With Me.
