Who is Rylan Clark?

Rylan Clark was born in London on 25 October 1988.

Rylan came to widespread public attention when he was fifth on The X Factor in 2012.

He followed up by winning Celebrity Big Brother series 11 in January 2013.

Rylan then became a presenter of Big Brother spin-off Big Brother's Bit on the Side and gained further presenting credits on Daybreak and This Morning.

On 7 November 2015, Rylan married Dan Neal, a former police officer who was a housemate on Big Brother in 2013.

In July 2016, ITV announced that Rylan Clark was to be a co-host with Matt Edmondson of the forthcoming series of ITV2’s The Xtra Factor.

In 2017, it was revealed that he would host a new ITV game show called Babushka.

In October 2018, Rylan Clark was listed as the 27th richest celebrity in the UK aged under 30.

In the same month it was revealed that Rylan would take over Zoe Ball's Radio 2 Saturday afternoon slot from January 2019.

In February 2019, the BBC revealed that Ryan Clark-Neal, Mollie King and Marvin Humes would be the expert judges for Eurovision: You Decide.

In April 2019, Zoe Ball revealed that Rylan would join the presenting team of Strictly Come Dancing's sister show It Takes Two.

In July 2019, the BBC announced that Rylan Clark would host a new fashion makeover show, You Are What You Wear for BBC One.

A few months later they also announced that Rylan would host Ready Steady Cook which would be returning BBC One in 2020.

Rylan had already been appointed to host the return of an old favourite - Supermarket Sweep which was to be broadcast on ITV2 from 9 September 2019.

In November 2019, he sang non-stop karaoke for 24 hours to raise money for Children in Need.

Rylan married Dan Neal however they broke up after six years.

He became the joint host of Strictly - It Takes Two, originally co-hosting with Zoe Ball and then with Janette Manrara.

However, he did not present the show in 2023, and the following year he hosted Hot Mess Summer on Amazon Prime.

In 2024, Rylan appeared alongside Rob Rinder in Rob and Rylan's Grand Tour.

The tour was part of the pair's process of moving on with their lives after recent divorces.
