Phil Daniels's Biography
Phil Daniels was born on October 25, 1958 and grew up in Kings Cross, London.
Phil Daniels has numerous credits but is probably best known for his roles in EastEnders, Quadrophenia, and Time Gentlemen Please.
In the 1979 film Quadrophenia, he played drugged-up mod Jimmy.
Phil Daniels joined EastEnders in 2006. He played Kevin Wicks, who died in a car crash in a New Year's Eve storyline in December 2007. One of the character's sons was Deano, who was played by Matt Di Angelo, who preceded Phil Daniels in appearing on Strictly Come Dancing.
Phil Daniels is also a musician. He was the voice on Blur's hit single Parklife and he once had a band, Phil Daniels And The Cross.
In spite of growing up in North London, Phil Daniels supports Chelsea and wrote the match reports for the left-wing newspaper Morning Star for three years.
Phil Daniels and his partner Jan Stevens have a daughter, Ella.
In the 2008 series of Strictly Come Dancing, Phil Daniels partnered Flavia Cacace.
However, Phil and Flavia were the first couple to be voted of Strictly Come Dancing in 2008, after losing a dance off against Don Warrington and Lilia Kopylova with Len Goodman using his casting vote.
In 2016, Phil Daniels was cast in The Hatton Garden Job, a film about the 2015 London jewellery heist.
In 2020, he became one of the celebrities on Celebrity Masterchef.
