Who is Judy Murray?

Judy Murray was born Judy Erskine on 8 September 1959 in Bridge of Allan, Scotland.

Her father, Roy Erskine, played football for Hibernian, Stirling Albion and Cowdenbeath.

She qualified as a tennis coach and studied French and business at Edinburgh University, before working in retail management.

Later on, Judy Murray was appointed the national junior tennis coach for Scotland, training her sons Andy Murray and Jamie Murray as well as the likes of Elena Baltacha and Colin Fleming.

She and her husband Willie Murray divorced in 2005.

In 2014, Judy Murray was paired with Anton Du Beke on Strictly Come Dancing. They were the seventh couple to be voted off.

In 2020, she was one of the contestants on Celebrity Masterchef.

In 2023, she wrote a thriller entitled The Wild Card.
