David Parnaby's Biography

David Parnaby was a 25 year-old high street store manager and visual manager from Ayr when he became a halfway housemate in Big Brother series 8.

David was the first of the halfway housemates to join the Big Brother housemates in the main house.

The existing housemates chose David and Kara-Louise Horne to join them in the Big Brother house.

However, he ended the week in the halfway house and so was up for eviction. On 3 August 2007, David and Shanessa were the seventh and eighth people to be evicted from Big Brother series 8, losing the public vote to Tracey and Kara-Louise.

According to David's profile on the Channel 4 Big Brother website:

"He believes that 'man is a parasite on earth, resulting in the tragic rape of our planet,' and practices white witchcraft."

David Parnaby told Jonty and Shanessa that he was predominantly straight, but had been single for a long time before entering Big Brother.

David, who is a pagan, had auditioned with Liam McGough.
