Ulrich Alexander 'Rick' Fox was on born July 24, 1969 in Toronto, Canada.
He attended the University of North Carolina and was coached in basketball by Dean Smith.
Rick Fox began his pro basketball career when he was drafted into the NBA by the Boston Celtics. He went on to captain the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers, with whom he was a three-time NBA Champion.
Rick Fox developed an acting career, starting in 1994, with Blue Chips.
A big breakthrough was being cast in the hit HBO series Oz.
Rick Fox's other TV credits include Ugly Betty, One Tree Hill, and Dirt. Whilst his film credits include Tyler Perry's Meet The Browns.
