Lacey is the sister of So You Think You Can Dance season 2 winner Benji Schwimmer.

In 2007, Lacey Schwimmer won the World Swing Dance Championships partnering her brother.

As a young adult Lacey Schwimmer had successfully partnered Jared Murillo, with whom she also won the U.S. National Youth Latin Championships in 2006.

Schwimmer was a top 4 finalist in season 3 of So You Think You Can Dance.
