Carrie Ann Inaba's Biography
Carrie Ann Inaba was born in 1968 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Carrie Ann Inaba is a regular judge on Dancing With The Stars.
As a youngster Inaba went to Japan and released three singles there whilst attending University. When she returned to the USA, Inaba studied choreography.
She also took dance classes with Alexandre Magno and they established a dance company called Personna Productions.
Carrie Ann Inaba was one of the original Fly Girls of In Living Color. She was on the first three seasons, and Jennifer Lopez joined on the third season.
Inaba then toured with Madonna on The Girlie Show, for which she had to have her head shaved bald. She also toured twice with Ricky Martin.
Inaba played Fook Yu in Austin Powers: Goldmember, however she increasingly concentrated on choreographing for television.
Carrie Ann Inaba has choreographed a variety of TV shows including the first season of So You Think You Can Dance, American Idol in Christmas 2003, Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire, and The Swan.
Carrie Ann Inaba used to go out with dancer Artem Chigvintsev.
In 2008, Carrie Ann Inaba and fellow Dancing with the Stars judge Bruno Tonioli featured in the USA's version of the UK's Dance X called Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann.
Carrie Ann Inaba's other activities include producing the Broadway ballroom show Burn the Floor.
In 2009 she guest-starred in Hannah Montana.
On 29 July 2009, it was announced that TV Guide Network had signed Carrie Ann Inaba and Chris Harrison to anchor its live red carpet coverage, beginning with the 2009 Primetime Emmy Awards.
