Florence Henderson was born on 14 February 1934.

She is best known for her role as Carol Brady in the popular TV series The Brady Bunch, which originally ran from 1969 until 1974.

Her first stage role was in the musical, Wish You Were Here, since when she has had numerous roles on stage in shows like Oklahoma, The Great Waltz, Fanny, The Sound of Music, South Pacific and The King and I.

As well as The Brady Bunch she has made numerous TV appearances as an actor in shows like Murder She Wrote and The Love Boat; and as a host, for example, Country Kitchen and The Florence Henderson Show.

Florence Henderson has also developed a one-woman show, All the Lives of Me ... A Musical Journey, and written a cookbook, A Little Cooking, a Little Talking and a Whole Lot of Fun.

In Dancing with the Stars season 11, Florence Henderson was partnered with Corky Ballas. They were the fifth couple eliminated from the show.

Florence Henderson died on 24 November 2016, aged 82.
