Jennifer Elise Grey was born on March 26, 1960 in New York City.
Her father Joel Grey and her mother Jo Wilder were both actors.
Jennifer Grey's first major breakthrough came in 1986 when she was cast as Matthew Broderick's sister in the comedy Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
The following year, Jennifer Grey starred as Frances 'Baby' Houseman alongside Patrick Swayze in Dirty Dancing.
She also starred as a character with her own name in the television sitcom It's Like, You Know.
Jennifer Grey won Dancing with the Stars season 11, partnering Derek Hough.
