Clare Buckfield's Biography

Clare Buckfield, actress and Dancing On Ice runner-up, was born in 1976.

Clare Buckfield, whose main roles on TV have been as Jenny Porter in 2 Point 4 Children and Katy Bell in Steel River Blues, went out with Dec Donnelly for over 10 years.

Clare and her twin sister Julie Buckfield share a couple of TV credits. When they were young, they both appeared in Grange Hill and in July 2006 Clare Buckfield and Julie Buckfield guest starred as twins Allie and Sarah Francis in Holby City.

Clare Buckfield has made several stage performances including in Puss in Boots at the Connaught Theatre, Worthing.

The BBC reported how Clare Buckfield agreed to appear free to help the financially struggling Jersey Opera House.

When Clare Buckfield and Dec split, the BBC reported Dec's agent as saying:

"Over the last year, Claire [sic] and Dec have spent a lot of time apart due to work commitments.

"While they remain firm friends, they've decided to part and give themselves time and space. They confirm that no other parties are involved on either side." Clare Buckfield partnered by Andre Lipanov came a close second to Kyran Bracken in the second series of Dancing on Ice.
