Alexandra Schaumann's Biography
She competed for the Finnish National Team in international ice skating competitions.
In 1992 Alexandra Schaumann came 2nd in the Finnish Championships.
Alexandra Schaumann met her husband Lukasz Rozycki whilst on tour. They became a principal pairs team that have ice skated all over the world.
For example, Alexandra Schaumann and Lukasz Rozycki have performed in three Holiday On Ice touring productions (Hollywood, Romanza, Colours Of Dance), the Royal Caribbean cruise ship productions (Adventure & Voyager Of The Seas), in Phantasialand, Germany (Unforgettable), as well as in Bugs Bunny On Ice and in Dreams On Ice in Italy.
Alexandra Schaumann had previously taken part in Dancing On Ice in Holland and Sweden, but 2010 saw her first appearance on Dancing on Ice in the UK - although she did feature, partnering her husband, on the Dancing on Ice tour in 2009.
In Dancing on Ice 2010 Alexandra Schaumann partnered Dr Hilary Jones.
Alexandra and Dr Hilary were the sixth couple to be voted off Dancing on Ice.
One of her early coaches was Kati Perokorpi.
In 2011, Alexandra Schaumann was paired with Dominic Cork in Dancing on Ice. They were the sixth couple to be eliminated from Dancing on Ice.
In 2012, she was paired with Sam Nixon on Dancing on Ice. They came 7th.
Alexandra Schaumann was selected to be one of the professional ice skaters to appear in the final series of Dancing on Ice in 2014. She was paired with Todd Carty.
In 2019, she was paired with James Jordan.
James and Alexandra ended up winning Dancing on Ice series 11.
In 2020, she was paired with Joe Swash, however she was injured after a few weeks and was replaced by Alex Murphy. Joe Swash ended up winning Dancing on Ice.
In 2021, she was partnered by Jason Donovan, but they had to withdraw because he was injured.
In 2022, she reached the semi-finals with Connor Ball and came joint fourth.
In 2023, Alexandra was paired with John Fashanu. They were the first couple to be voted off.
In October 2023, it was revealed that Alexandra would not be taking part in Dancing on Ice in 2024.
