Stephen Mulhern was born on April 4, 1977 in Stratford in east London.

Since he was 14, he pursued magic, and started demonstrating magic at Hamleys before becoming the youngest member of the Magic Circle.

He later got suspended for revealing the method of a trick on TV, but was allowed back in.

Subsequent to his career in magic, Stephen Mulhern began to amass a number of credits presenting television shows, including Saturday morning children's show Saturday Showdown with Holly Willoughby, Britain’s Got More Talent, Catchphrase, Tricky TV, Animals Do The Funniest Things and Big Star's Little Stars.

Apart from his own show called Stephen’s Mega Mad Magic Show, he has also appeared on stage in the likes of acting in Grease.

He has also co-hosted the Heart FM Breakfast Show with Emma Willis on Sundays.

In 2023, he became the host of Deal or No Deal.

It was also revealed that Stephen Mulhern would take over from Phillip Schofield as a co-host with Holly Willoughby on Dancing on Ice in 2024.
