Cameron Mathison's Biography
Cameron Mathison was born on 25 August 1969 in Ontario, Canada.
Cameron Mathison's TV credits include CSI, JAG, and What I Like About You, but he is best known for playing Ryan Lavery in All My Children.
Mathison started the role in January 1989. He left in July 2002 but returned in 2003.
In 1999 Cameron Mathison won the Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Male Newcomer and he has twice gained Daytime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor.
Mathison also appears on factual TV including hosting SOAPnet's I Wanna Be a Soap Star, and reporting for Extra.
Mathison is also accomplished at basketball, golf and swimming.
In an interview with Cameron Mathison, TV Guide reported how when Cameron Mathison was just 2 he had a degenerative hip condition and spent six months in hospital and three and a half years in steel-framed leg braces.
In Dancing with the Stars series 5, Cameron Mathison partnered dancer Edyta Sliwinska.
Cameron and Edyta did well, but were the eighth couple to be eliminated.
