Edyta Sliwinska's Biography

Edyta Sliwinska was the only professional dancer to appear in all the first ten seasons of Dancing with the Stars.

In season 10 of Dancing with the Stars, Edyta was paired with Aiden Turner. They were the third couple to be eliminated.

In Dancing with the Stars season 9, Edyta Sliwinska partnered Ashley Hamilton. It was not a long stint as they were eliminated in the first week.

In Dancing with the Stars season 8, Edyta Sliwinska danced with Lawrence Taylor.

They were voted off in week 7.

In season 7 of Dancing with the Stars, Edyta Sliwinska danced with Jeffrey Ross. However, they were the first couple eliminated from Dancing with the Stars.

Edyta got a temporary second bite of the cherry half way through Dancing with the Stars series 7 when she substituted for Julianne Hough whilst Julianne recovered from an operation to remove her appendix, and so Edyta danced with Cody Linley.

Cody and Edyta made it through to the semi-finals, when Julianne resumed.

In Dancing with the Stars series 6, Edyta Sliwinska partnered Jason Taylor.

Series 6 was Edyta Sliwinska's first time in the final of Dancing with the Stars, and she and Jason were runners up.

In season 1 Edyta Sliwinska's came fifth with Evander Holyfield, in Season 2 she came fifth again - this time with George Hamilton. In the third season of Dancing with the Stars, Edyta and Joey Lawrence came third.

In Season 4, Edyta partnered John Ratzenberger and in season five she danced with Cameron Mathison.

Edyta Sliwinska left Poland to pursue her dancing career in Los Angeles.

In September of 2007, Edyta married Alec Mazo, a professional dancer, who also appears on Dancing with the Stars.

In 2001, Edyta Sliwinska took first place in the International Grand Ball at San Francisco and the Holiday Ball in Las Vegas.

She has also been Emerald Ball Latin Amateur Champion.
