Warren Sapp's Biography
He went to College in Miami and in 1995 he was a 1st round pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Warren Sapp was the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1999. With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers he played in seven consecutive Pro Bowls and won Super Bowl XXXVII in 2003.
In 2004, however, Warren Sapp signed a $36.6m deal with the Oakland Raiders and thus ended his successful nine year period with Tampa Bay.
Warren Sapp's 96.5 career sacks are the second-highest total for a defensive tackle in the NFL.
Warren Sapp retired before the 2008 season giving him time for the likes of appearing in Dancing with the Stars, and co-hosting Showtime's Inside the NFL as well as being a studio analyst and game commentator for the NFL Network.
In Dancing with the Stars series 7, Warren Sapp danced with Kym Johnson. They ended up runners-up.
In February 2010, it was reported that Warren Sapp had been arrested and charged with misdemeanor domestic battery. However, the charges were later dropped.
