Katie Price's Biography

Katie Price, also known as Jordan, was born on 22 May 1978 in Brighton.

She achieved notoriety at 18 when she posed for The Sun's Page 3.

Katie Price received media exposure not just for her modelling but also her romantic attachments including Teddy Sheringham and Oliver Skeete.

In May 2002, Jordan gave birth to Harvey, whose father is Dwight Yorke. Harvey has a rare disorder called septo-optic dysplasia which has led to him being nearly blind and overweight since birth. Harvey is also autistic.

Jordan met her husband-to-be singer Peter Andre on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. In June 2005, they had a son, Junior.

Jordan and Peter Andre's relationship was the subject of reality TV series including When Jordan Met Peter, Jordan and Peter Laid Bare, and Jordan and Peter: Marriage and Mayhem.

In March 2007, it was revealed that E! Entertainment had bought the rights to the programmes in the USA.

In 2005, Katie Price failed in her attempt to represent the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest - losing out to Javine.

The model has written a best-selling autobiography Being Jordan, and a follow-up entitled Jordan: A Whole New World; additionally Jordan has written the novels Angel and Crystal.

Jordan has had a high profile rivalry with Jodie Marsh.

On 29 June 2007, Jordan and Peter Andre had a baby daughter, whom they named Princess Tiaamii.

On 3 July 2008, Katie Price and Peter Andre accepted substantial damages over a News of the World article depicting them as bad parents.

On 8 September 2009, Katie Price and Peter Andre were granted a divorce at London's High Court.

Soon after her split from Peter Andre, Katie Price started going out with the cage-fighter Alex Reid.

In October 2009, Katie Price published her style guide, Standing Out.

In November 2009, Katie Price returned to the jungle to once more enter I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, however she decided to leave after a week of the public regularly nominating her for the trials.

Katie Price and Alex Reid got married in a private ceremony on 2 February 2010 in Las Vegas. They had their marriage blessed at a ceremony in Surrey on 3 July 2010.

In January 2011, it was revealed that Katie Price and Alex Reid had separated.

In December 2011, Katie Price agreed to pay libel damages to Peter Andre, over suggestions that he was unfaithful to her.

In February 2015, she won Celebrity Big Brother.

On 26 November 2019, Katie Price was declared bankrupt.

In September 2021, The Sun reported on a car crash involving Katie Price.

It came not long after a man was arrested for allegedly assaulting her.

In 2023 she fronted the Channel Four series Katie Price's Mucky Mansion.

In February 2023, Katie Price published a letter from the Metropolitan Police telling her officers were facing misconduct proceedings over alleged involvement in a WhatsApp group that targeted her disabled son Harvey.

In March 2024, she was declared bankrupt for a second time.

Subsequently, after failing to attend a hearing, she was arrested at Heathrow Airport.
