Peter Andre's Biography
Peter James Andréa, better known as Peter Andre, was born on 27 February 1973 in Harrow near London to Greek-Cypriot parents.
His family moved to Australia when Peter Andre was 10.
At 16, Peter Andre appeared on the Australian talent show, New Faces and was offered a recording contract there and then by one of the judges.
Peter Andre had a number of successful songs in Australia before moving back to England where he eventually broke through into the European market with songs like Mysterious Girl and the UK number ones Flava and I Feel You.
Yo-yoing between hemispheres, Peter Andre returned to Australia and then spent time in Cyprus before becoming centre of the UK's attention on the popular ITV show I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, which would have a dramatic effect on his life.
Peter Andre came third on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, but more importantly it saw the start of his romance with Jordan, also known as Katie Price.
After he got out of the jungle, he re-released Mysterious Girl, which entered the UK chart at number one.
On 13 June 2005, Peter and Jordan had a son Junior and they got married in September 2005.
Peter Andre and Jordan were the subjects of numerous reality TV shows including Katie & Peter: The Baby Diaries.
On 29 June 2007 Peter Andre and Katie Price had a daughter, Princess Tiaamii.
Also in 2007, they had their own chat show on ITV2 called Katie and Peter: Unleashed.
In May 2009 it was revealed that Peter Andre and Jordan were breaking up.
In August 2009, it was announced that Peter Andre was joining ITV's This Morning as a show business reporter.
On 8 September 2009, Peter Andre and Katie Price were granted a divorce at London's High Court.
In May 2010, Peter Andre told Now magazine that he will be a host on a new programme on Channel 4 called The 5 O'Clock Show.
In June 2010, ITV2 started transmitting Peter Andre: The Next Chapter, the series about Peter Andre's life.
Peter Andre was named Britain's hardest working singer by PRS for Music for performing in more major concerts in 2010 than any other musician. He had performed to nearly 100,000 fans on his 38-date Revelation tour.
In February 2011, ITV2 commissioned a six-part series called Here To Help, in which Peter Andre and his team offer a helping hand to the Great British public.
In December 2011, Katie Price agreed to pay libel damages to Peter Andre, over suggestions that he was unfaithful to her.
In 2015, he became one of the celebrities on Strictly Come Dancing. Peter Andre and his dancing partner Janette Manrara were the ninth couple to leave the show.
In the same year he married Emily MacDonagh.
