Sam Fox's Biography
Sam Fox was born on 15 April 1966 in Mile End, east London.
Her mother, Carole, used to be a dancer on Ready Steady Go and her father Pat was a builder before becoming her manager.
Sam Fox's mother sent her photo to the People which was running a contest to find 'The Face and Shape of 1983' and Sam was joint runner-up.
Later on, Sam, who attended the Anna Sher Theatre School, was discovered by The Sun, which signed her up at just 16 to be a Page 3 girl.
Sam Fox retired young from modelling and in the 1980s started releasing singles, including Touch Me.
She played a concert at the Gandhi Stadium in Delhi to a record 70,000 people and her music success included four top 10 singles in the US.
Her parents split up in 1988 and a few years later she fired her father as her manager after she realised he was ripping her off.
The Mail published an article detailing various relationships she had with men, including Australian conman Peter Foster, Paul Stanley of the band Kiss, and Spanish bull-fighter Rafi Camino.
When she was 26, Sam Fox accepted that she was gay.
Some time later she met her partner Myra Stratton.
In 2008 they did a Celebrity Wife Swap with Freddie Starr and his wife.
In 2009, Sam Fox became a contestant on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
In 2016, she became one of the housemates on Celebrity Big Brother.
She was the eighth housemate to be voted out of the Big Brother house.
