Matthew Gonzalez's Biography

Matthew Gonzalez gained a High School Diploma from the American School and went to Orange Coast College.

Matthew Gonzalez has worked both in administration and as talent in the skating and dancing worlds.

He was the Principal Pair Skater on Holiday On Ice from August 2008 to May 2009, in the production Energia.

He was due to skate at Kyran Bracken's Ice Party, but he broke his forearm on opening day in Jersey.

Matthew Gonzalez told the forum at The Blue Room website that he began his skating career in artistic roller skating when he was 9.

In 2010 he was paired with Danniella Westbrook in the popular ITV ice skating show Dancing on Ice.

They came fourth on Dancing on Ice, narrowly missing the final by just losing a skate-off against Gary Lucy and Maria Filippov 3-2 on the judges' vote.

In 2012, he was paired with Charlene Tilton on Dancing on Ice.

Matthew and Charlene exited after five weeks on the show. It had been their third consecutive week in the skate off.
