Mark Rhodes was born on 11 September 1981 in the Midlands.

After coming runner-up to Michelle McManus in Pop Idol in 2003, Mark Rhodes's professional career has been largely intertwined with the third place contestant Sam Nixon.

They eventually moved from music into TV presenting, where their credits have included hosting Top Of The Pops Reloaded (with Fearne Cotton), TMi, Who Wants To Be A Superhero, Level Up, Skate Nation, Jump Nation, Copycats, and Sam & Mark's Big Friday Wind Up.

They are also regular reporters on This Morning.

In 2012, both Mark and Sam entered Dancing on Ice.

Mark Rhodes was paired with Frankie on Dancing on Ice. They were the third pair to be eliminated.
