Bonnie Langford, who was born Bonita Langford on 22 July 1964, became a star at the age of 6 when she appeared on the talent show, Opportunity Knocks.

Bonnie Langford's child acting roles including a very successful one in the children's television series, Just William.

Later on, Bonnie Langford played the assistant in Doctor Who. She was also an adviser on the BBC series Strictly Dance Fever. In February 2006, Bonnie appeared as a murder suspect in ITV's Miss Marple.

Bonnie Langford is married to actor Paul Grunert.

In Dancing on Ice, Bonnie Langford partnered Matt Evers, a former member of the US Figure Skating team. They ended up in third place.

In July 2007, Bonnie Langford, herself a child star, was made a judge on ITV's Baby Ballroom, where 6 to 11 year-olds compete for the ballroom dancing championship.

Bonny Langford was selected to be one of the all-stars to appear in the final series of Dancing on Ice in 2014. This time she was paired with Andre Lipanov.

Bonnie Langford was awarded best newcomer at the British Soap Awards 2016 for her role as Carmel Kazemi in EastEnders.

In 2018 she left her role in EastEnders and took on the part of Dorothy Brock in 42nd Street.

In 2024, she revisited the role of Mel in Doctor Who.
