Who is Brendan Cole?
Brendan Cole heralds from Christchurch, New Zealand but came to the UK when he was 19.Although Brendan Cole has been dancing since he was 6, it was not his first career and he is one of the few professional dancers to have previously worked as a builder.
Brendan Cole had a long personal and professional relationship with Camilla Dallerup.
They started dancing together in 1996 as amateurs. Although based in Britain they danced for New Zealand. From 2002 to 2004 they danced as professionals but after they split up and also broke off their relationship, Camilla started dancing with Ian Waite.
"I'd been with Brendan almost everyday, all the time, for more than eight years and then he changed overnight. I think he was starstruck ...everything changed because of her [Natasha Kaplinsky]."
He is a keen sportsman and enjoys American sitcoms.
Brendan Cole made the shortlist of Company's most eligible bachelor 2006 competition. In his profile he revealed that he goes weak at the knees when he has his bottom kissed!
In 2007, Brendan Cole resumed his dance partnership with Camilla Dallerup to represent the UK in the first Eurovision Dance Contest.
In 2010, Brendan Cole married the model Zoe Hobbs.
In 2017, it was revealed that Brendan Cole and Zoe Hobbs were expecting their second child.
2006 Love Island runner-up and Just The Two Of Us runner-up, professional dancer Brendan Cole is no stranger to entertainment TV. He has featured regularly in Strictly Come Dancing.
In 2021, it was revealed that Brendan Cole was to be one of the contestants on Dancing on Ice 2022. He was partnered with Vanessa Bauer.

In January 2018, it was revealed that Brendan Cole's contract on Strictly Come Dancing was not being renewed by the BBC.In 2017, he was paired with Charlotte Hawkins. They were the third couple to be eliminated.
In 2016, Brendan was partnered by Anastacia. In the fifth week, Brendan had a lung infection and Gorka Marquez stepped in. The following week Brendan was back but he and Anastacia were the fifth couple to be voted off.
In 2015, he was paired with Kirsty Gallacher. They were the fifth pair to be voted off.
In 2014, Brendan Cole was paired with Sunetra Sarker in Strictly Come Dancing. They were the ninth couple to be voted off.
In 2013, he was paired with Sophie Ellis-Bextor in Strictly Come Dancing. They came fourth.
In 2012, Brendan Cole partnered Victoria Pendleton in series 10 of Strictly Come Dancing. They were the seventh couple to be voted off.
In 2011 he was paired with Lulu in Strictly Come Dancing.
They were the fifth couple to be voted off.
In series 8 of Strictly Come Dancing Brendan Cole was paired Michelle Williams. Brendan and Michelle were the sixth couple to be voted off Strictly Come Dancing.
In series 7 of Strictly Come Dancing he partnered Jo Wood. They lasted until week 6.
In series 6 of Strictly Come Dancing Brendan Cole partnered Lisa Snowdon.
Lisa and Brendan survived a few dance-offs to reach the final.
Lisa and Brendan scored 80 out of 80 in the final, but after the public vote, they came third. Throughout, Brendan Cole was complimented on how well he had coached Lisa Snowdon.
In series 5, he danced with Kelly Brook, but Kelly, at well over the half-way stage in the series, had to pull out following the death of her father.
In series 4 of Strictly Come Dancing, Brendan Cole partnered Claire King. In spite of not always pleasing judge Len Goodman, they made progress but were voted off in the eighth show.
