Chris Fountain first came to widespread public attention for playing Hollyoaks bad boy Justin Burton.

Before the start of Dancing on Ice, Chris Fountain and his skating partner Frankie Poultney were amongst the favourites to win as Chris played semi-professional ice hockey for two years for Bradford.

True to expectations, Chris Fountain and Frankie Poultney skated well throughout Dancing on Ice and duly reached the final.

Chris and Frankie reached the final two, but they came up against Suzanne Shaw and Matt Evers, who were on fire, and Chris and Frankie ended up runners-up in Dancing on Ice in 2008.

Dancing on Ice is not Chris Fountain's first go at celebrity reality TV. He also appeared on the BBC's singing show Just The Two of Us.

Before getting the part of Justin Burton in Hollyoaks, Chris Fountain had some minor roles on TV as well as playing Gavroche in Les Miserables and the Artful Dodger in Oliver on stage.

As a boy Chris Fountain went to the Carol Godby Theatre Workshop in Bury at weekends and at just 13 was part of a boyband, Nau-T, sometimes called Naughty.
