Tim Vincent was born in Wrexham on 4 November 1972.

Straight after his fellow Welsh Blue Peter presenter Gethin Jones did well on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing, Tim Vincent took part on ITV's Dancing on Ice.

Tim Vincent had presented Blue Peter from December 1993 to January 1997.

Before the competition had started, The Sun reported that Tim Vincent was nursing a bruised groin because his Dancing on Ice skating partner, Victoria Borzenkova, kept butting him in training.

In week 2 of Dancing on Ice, Tim and Victoria won the skate-off against Natalie Pinkham and Andre Lipanov.

In week five, Tim Vincent and Victoria Borzenkova were voted off Dancing on Ice.

Tim Vincent is both a presenter and an actor.

At 15, Tim Vincent started playing Billy Ryan in Children's Ward. He ended up doing six series before joining Blue Peter.

Tim Vincent's Blue Peter career did not put his acting entirely on hold. He still managed to appear in two series of the popular BBC One drama Dangerfield.

Apart from Blue Peter, Tim Vincent's presenting credits include The Clothes Show, Short Change (a children's consumer affairs show), and Fully Booked.

In 2000 Tim Vincent played vet Adam Forrester in Emmerdale.

In January 2005, Tim Vincent joined Access Hollywood in the States and became its New York correspondent.

Tim Vincent worked on both sides of the Atlantic as he also hosted Kitchen Criminals and Saturday Night National Lottery in the UK.

In August 2009, Tim Vincent joined London radio station, Magic 105.4 to guest host Kim Wilde's Secret Songs Sunday on Magic.

In October 2020, the BBC announced that Tim Vincent would host a new Radio 4 parenting series, The Likely Dads.
