Sarah Greene's Biography
After university, Sarah Greene started acting on the stage, before being cast in a BBC drama Swish of the Curtain.
Sarah Greene used to present Blue Peter (like fellow Dancing on Ice Star Tim Vincent).
Sarah Greene was with Blue Peter from 1980 until 1983 and she continued to have high profile roles in children's TV in the 1990s.
She co-presented Saturday Superstore with Mike Read, Keith Chegwin, John Craven and David Icke.
Sarah Greene and Phillip Schofield then presented Saturday Superstore's replacement, Going Live. The BBC has an account of a helicopter crash in 1988, which Sarah Greene and her husband, the presenter Mike Smith, survived.
Sarah Greene's other TV credits include presenting The Young Musician of the Year and Collector's Lot as well as acting in Doctor Who and Casualty.
Dancing on Ice in 2008 saw Sarah Greene reunited with Phillip Schofield, with whom she presented Going Live back in the late 1980s.
However, Sarah Greene did not last long as she lost the skate off against Samantha Mumba in the first week of Dancing on Ice.
In Dancing on Ice, Sarah Greene partnered Fred Palascak.
Her husband, Mike Smith, passed away in 2014.
