Darren Day's Biography

Early Life

Darren Day was born in Colchester, Essex on 17 July 1968.

Before pursuing a career in entertainment he was a semi-professional snooker player.

Darren Day's big breakthrough came when he was cast in the lead role in Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the London Palladium in 1993.

Day proceeded to have numerous roles in musicals.

Relationships and Personal Life

He is also known for his romantic liaisons, which have included Anna Friel, Tracy Shaw, Isla Fisher, Adele Vellacott, and Suzanne Shaw, with whom he had a son Corey MacKenzie.

In 2007 Darren Day married Stephanie Dooley who had played Cinderella opposite his Buttons. They have two children.

Day's personal life before he met Stephanie was also notable for having featured a cocaine addiction and a bankruptcy.

Reality TV

Darren Day's appearances on reality TV include being on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here in 2002, and, in 2016, he became one of the housemates in Celebrity Big Brother. He came third.
