Stef Reid's Biography

Who is Stef Reid?

Although Stef was born in New Zealand, her parents were British and so she went on to represent Great Britain in Paralympic events.

She was raised in Toronto in Canada, before moving to Dallas in the USA and then to the UK.

As a teenager Stef Reid was involved in a boating accident and her right foot was amputated.

She went on to become a world champion in the long jump in 2017, and a medallist in the long jump and the 200m sprint at various major events including winning silvers in London 2012 and Rio 2016 in the long jump.

In 2018, Stef Reid made her acting debut in The Energy Within, about an athlete struggling with traumatic limb loss.

Also in 2018, she became one of the contestants on Celebrity Masterchef.
