Who is Frankie Bridge?
Frankie Bridge, formerly Frankie Sandford, was born on 14 January 1989 in Upminster.Even as a youngster she was involved in music, not only attending dance classes and stage school, but also joining S Club Juniors.
This BBC article on S Club 8, when Frankie was 13, mentions that she had already appeared as a cheerleader on SM:tv.
When her involvement in S Club Juniors ended when she was 15, she worked in a bar and at House of Fraser, before joining the Saturdays, who were to become hugely successful with hits such as the UK number one single What About Us.
Frankie Bridge used to live with Dougie Poynter, the bass player of McFly, but in late 2010 she got together with footballer Wayne Bridge and they married in 2014.
In 2014 she was paired with Kevin Clifton on Strictly Come Dancing and they reached the final three and were joint runners-up with Simon Webbe and Kristina Rihanoff.
In 2017, Frankie Bridge presented the Channel Five series Celeb Trolls: We're Coming to Get You.
In the same year she became one of the poolside commentators on the ITV gameshow Cannonball.
In 2020, she spoke about the problems she had experienced with her mental health.
In 2021, she became one of the contestants on I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
