Nicole Cutler's Biography

Who is Nicole Cutler?

Nicole Cutler was born in Durban, South Africa and did ballet from 4 until 11. A year later she started to learn ballroom and Latin American dancing.

Nicole danced with Andrew Magin and Warren Smith in South Africa and then moved to England when she was 18.

From 1994 Nicole partnered Matthew Cutler for ten years. She pointed out in her website: "his teacher (Alan Fletcher) didn't want us to dance together because he thought there was too much of a height difference, we ignored him and the rest as they say is history!"

Nicole and Matthew Cutler are dancing together again in a 30 minute show featuring five Latin American dances.

Nicole Cutler also teaches at Semley Dance Studio.

In Strictly Come Dancing series 5, Nicole Cutler partnered John Barnes.

John improved through the series, but John and Nicole were eliminated in week 8 of Strictly Come Dancing 2007.

Nicole Cutler partnered Nicholas Owen in series 4 of Strictly Come Dancing. They were the first dancers to be voted off the series.

Nicolas Owen was full of praise for Nicole Cutler afterwards, saying: "This woman is an amazing dancer, as you all know. It's been the most amazing experience for me."
