Ian Waite
Ian Waite is not a newcomer to Strictly Come Dancing. He and Denise Lewis were runners-up in the second series. Ian partnered Zoe Ball in the third season of Strictly Come Dancing, and they finished up in third place.
However, in the fourth series of Strictly Come Dancing, Ian Waite partnered Mica Paris, who was the first woman to be voted off.
In series five of Strictly Come Dancing Ian Waite's dance partner was Penny Lancaster-Stewart and they were eliminated in week 6.
Born in Reading, Ian Waite started dancing early in life when his father attended classes and dragged an initially reluctant Ian and his brother along.
Ian was ten years old then, but just three years later he was dancing on the open competition circuit and Ian became a Latin American champion.
Ian's normal dancing partner is Camilla Dallerup.
Ian and Camilla started dancing together in 2004. In the International Championships at the Royal Albert Hall they reached the semi-finals and they reached the final of the British National Dance Championships.
In July of 2005 they were runners-up in the UK Closed Championships.
Ian Waite's official site has a more detailed biography as well as photographs from Strictly Come Dancing.
