Natalie Lowe's Biography
Natalie Lowe was a 29-year-old Australian when she entered Strictly Come Dancing 2009.
She was athletic as a youngster. Her father was a motor mechanic.
Natalie, who is 5'9½", has won several dance competitions partnering her elder brother Glenn.
Natalie Lowe has also partnered Stefano Olivieri and together they have won the Australian Dance-sport Professional Championships.
Natalie started dancing at the Seven Hills RSL club in 1985.
Since then she has amassed a number of Australian and Australasian titles and became a finalist at the Lion City Singapore International Amateur Standard Championships 2000.
In 2005, Natalie was cast in the stage shows Burn the Floor and Floor Play.
She has also been an assistant choreographer on the Australian version of So You Think You Can Dance.
Natalie Lowe won the Australian Professional New Vogue Championships for three consecutive years from 2006 to 2008 and won the New Vogue category at the Australian Dancesport Competition in 2006 and 2007.
Although new to Strictly Come Dancing in 2009, Natalie Lowe had been a regular professional dancer on the Australian equivalent show Dancing with the Stars.
She won the show with AFL footballer, Anthony Koutoufides and came runner-up with Australian champion boxer, Danny Green.
She dances professionally with Ian Waite.

In May 2017, Natalie Lowe revealed that she was retiring from Strictly Come Dancing.
In 2016, Natalie was paired with Greg Rutherford. They came seventh.
In 2015, she was partnered with Ainsley Harriott. They were the fourth couple to be voted off.
In 2014, Natalie Lowe was paired with Tim Wonnacott.
They were the third couple to be voted off.
In 2012, she was paired with Michael Vaughan in Strictly Come Dancing series 10. They were the ninth couple to be eliminated.
In 2011 Natalie Lowe was partnered by the boxer Audley Harrison in Strictly Come Dancing. They were the sixth couple to be voted off.
In 2010 Natalie Lowe was paired with Scott Maslen in Strictly Come Dancing.
Natalie and Scott narrowly missed out on appearing in the final of Strictly Come Dancing, finishing fourth.
In August 2009, it was announced that Natalie Lowe was to make her Strictly Come Dancing debut as a professional dancer, partnering Ricky Whittle in series seven. Natalie and Ricky came second.
