Amelle Berrabah was born in Aldershot, Hampshire on 22 April 1984 to Moroccan parents.

She was raised Muslim.

At school she used to sing Mary J Blige covers in variety shows.

She was in a band boo2, with her sister Samiya.

In 2003, she won Top of The Pops magazine’s Star Search.

Amelle Berrabah came to widespread public attention in 2005 when she replaced Mutya Buena in The Sugababes.

In 2009, she had a number one single along with Tinchy Stryder with Never Leave You,

In 2013, she released the solo single Love (Is All We Need) with DJ Adam.

Amelle Berrabah was selected to appear on the BBC’s gymnastics reality show Tumble, and in 2016, Celebrity Masterchef.
