Who is Patsy Palmer?

Patsy Palmer was born Julie Anne Harris in 1972.

Patsy Palmer got started as an actress with a role in 'Joseph' when she was just six.

She told BBC Gloucestershire:

"I was in Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat when I was six in the West End for three years. I fell into that by accident - I just went along with my brother, I wasn't meant to be in the audition and I ended up in the show, in the chorus.

"Then somebody told my Mum about a drama school in Islington. It was a drama school for parents who couldn't afford to send their kids to full-time stage school. We didn't have the money to do that. I went along there, waited a couple of years to get in, and still wanted to do it."

Patsy Palmer spent several years in EastEnders playing Bianca Butcher, whose marriage to Ricky, played by Sid Owen, gained an audience of more than 22 million.

In an interview with This Morning in 2005, however, Patsy called EastEnders 'rubbish'.

Patsy Palmer has starred in the television detective drama McCready and Daughter as well as having had a stint as a host on Channel 4's The Big Breakfast and ITV children's show SM:tv.

Mother of three, Patsy also launched a fitness video, Patsy Palmer - the Urban Workout, through her own production company.

Patsy Palmer partnered Anton Du Beke in the third series of Strictly Come Dancing.
