Brian Conley was born on 7 August 1961 in London.His father was a cab driver.
As a child Conley attended the Barbara Speake Stage School.

He then had a spell in London's West End appearing in Me & My Girl, and Jolson.

A man of many talents, Brian Conley also played the main role of Kenny Conway in the sitcom Time After Time.
His other acting credits include playing Doug Digby in The Grimleys.
