Anna Demidova's Biography

In Dancing with the Stars series 9, Anna Demidova danced with Michael Irvin. It was her first season on the show as a professional dancer.

They were the 9th couple to be eliminated and tenth couple to leave the series.

Anna won the Season 8 pro-dancer competition in Dancing with the Stars and thus qualified to be one of the professional dancers in season 9.

Anna Demidova was born in Moscow and started dancing when she was just 6 years old.

Anna was following in the footsteps of her sister, world champion Katusha Demidova.

After school, Anna Demidova moved to New York and began dancing with Andrei Begunov. Amongst their many successes, they became the United States Youth Champions in 2005 and 2006. Dancesport has their full stats.

After her partnership with Andrei Begunov finished in 2006, Anna Demidova started dancing with Igor Mikushov, with whom she won several competitions including the Ohio Star Ball, Emerald Ball, Manhattan DanceSport Championship, and the Tri State Championship.
