Macy Gray's Biography
Her debut album, On How Life Is, and the single I Try, both went to number one.
In Dancing with the Stars series 9, Macy Gray danced with Jonathan Roberts.
However, along with Ashley Hamilton, partnered by Edyta Sliwinska, from the men, Macy Gray and Jonathan Roberts were eliminated in the first week.
At the time of Dancing with the Stars Macy Gray had sold more than 20 million albums.
As well as being known for her singing, Macy Gray has appeared in films such as Spider Man, Training Day, and Lackawanna Blues.
In 2004, People reported that Macy Gray was to launch her own clothing line, M. Gray.
Bio quoted Macy Gray as saying:
"I'm really demanding. No girl really wants just a guy. You want a prince, you want Jesus. So when he comes around and his name is Steve, what are you supposed to do?"
