Jake Pavelka's Biography

He began flying lessons when he was just 12.

When he was young he got cast under the stage name Jake Landrum, in a few acting roles including appearing in Walker, Texas Ranger, as a young version of Chuck Norris's character.

Jake Pavelka attended University of North Texas and Embry Engineering University for Aerospace Science. He became a pilot for Atlantic Southeast Airlines in 2000, and an airline captain flight instructor when he was 23.

Before The Bachelorette and then The Bachelor, Jake Pavelka had a five-year relationship which ended in November 2007.

He was rejected by Jillian Harris on The Bachelorette. He became 'The Bachelor' and proposed to Vienna Giraldi on the final episode.

In 2010 Jake Pavelka was coupled with Chelsie Hightower in Dancing with the Stars. They were the fifth couple eliminated.
