Damian Whitewood's Biography

In Dancing with the Stars in 2010, Damian Whitewood made his debut appearance on the US show partnering Pamela Anderson. They were the sixth couple to be eliminated.

Damian Whitewood began dancing at the age of 10 and went on to achieve numerous accolades including being Australian Champion, WA State Champion and Australasian Champion in Ballroom and Latin American styles.

He has represented Australia in the Worlds Youth Latin and the Worlds Youth Ballroom and was a semi-finalist at the Blackpool International Championships.

In 2000, Damian Whitewood stopped competing as a dancer and started starring in Burn The Floor. His partner Peta Murgatroyd danced alongside Damian Whitewood on stage in Burn the Floor.

Damian Whitewood told the Western Australian newspaper that compared to his stage work:

"I'll be earning six or seven times as much doing the Stars show."

As well as appearing on Dancing with the Stars in the US in 2010, Damian Whitewood has danced on Dancing With The Stars in Australia and America and So You Think You Can Dance in Australia and Holland.
