Who is Kate Silverton?
She was born on 4 August 1970 in Essex.Her father was a black cab driver and her mother was a nursery school teacher.
Kate Silverton studied psychology at Durham University.
After a long period travelling, she entered broadcasting and worked her way up the ladder to become a newsreader on BBC's national news.
She has also presented programmes such as Panorama on TV and various shows on Radio 4 and 5.
In 2018, Kate Silverton became one of the celebrities on Strictly Come Dancing.
She was partnered with Aljaz Skorjanec.
They were the eighth couple to be eliminated.
