Nancy Xu's Biography

Nancy Xu was born on 31 July 1991 in China.

She spent her early years in Beijing and Hong Kong and was a dance champion in China.

In 2019, she joined the professional dancer line-up for BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing, replacing Pasha Kovalev.

She was a dancer on Burn The Floor.

She was a finalist on So You Think You Can Dance in China.

Nancy Wu's speciality in dancing is Latin.

Her dance competition record includes being a finalist in the U21 World Championships back in 2010.

In 2022, she was paired with Will Mellor on Strictly Come Dancing.

In 2023 on Strictly, Nancy was partnered by Les Dennis. They were the first pair to be voted off.

In 2024, she was paired with Shayne Ward. They were the seventh couple to be eliminated.
