Strictly Come Dancing's Vito Coppola

Vito Coppola was born in Italy in 1992. He began dancing at six years of age and left home when he was 14 years old.

He went on to become Italian Latin American Champion on numerous occasions as well as a European Cup Winner and World Championship finalist.

In 2021, he left the field of dancing as a sport to move into dancing as a performer.

He was a professional dancer on Ballando con le Stelle, the Italian version of Strictly Come Dancing. Vito Coppola partnered the singer Arisa and they won.

Vito speaks English, Russian and Spanish.

In 2022, he became one of the professional dancers on Strictly Come Dancing in the UK.

He was paired with Fleur East. They ended up joint runners-up.

In 2023, he was partnered by Ellie Leach and they won.

In 2024, Vito was paired with Sarah Hadland on Strictly. They ended up reaching the final of four couples and scored 118 points out of 120, but the winners, through the public vote, were Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell.
